TUESDAY
Softball vs. Iola has been cancelled, the Softball team will now play their conference game against Tri-County (originally scheduled for 5/9). Game time is 4:00, with JV Innings to follow.
Exciting day for our 7th graders as they embarked on a journey to ThedaCare Wild Rose for an immersive hands-on experience in the world of healthcare professions! 👩⚕️👨⚕️

Mrs. Jansen's second grade students became experts on informational text features and animal research! 📝 🐻🦁🐯
Students learned all about headings, captions, diagrams, and glossaries, and how these elements are used to understand nonfiction text. As animal researchers with laptops, tablets, and books, they set out to uncover fascinating facts about their chosen animals. Students transitioned from researchers to authors, as they crafted their informational books.
To complete their animal research project they had the joy of sharing knowledge with Mrs. Barker's first grade students.
